The Ragon Institute of MGH, MIT and Harvard brings together scientists and engineers from diverse fields to better understand the immune system and support human health. Its mission is to harness the immune system to prevent and cure human disease, and has six priority research areas: HIV/AIDS, Global Infectious Diseases, Emerging Infectious Diseases, Vaccine Development, Basic and Applied Immunology, and Clinical Studies. It also has an emergency priority area, COVID-19.
