This past summer, I had the chance to perform a series of experiments and observations on microorganisms to identify and characterize them.  I also received useful advice regarding social  and other life skills. LEAH was very generous with all it had to offer and I am very thankful for the opportunity, as it strengthened my interest in a career tied to scientific experiments and observations. I enjoyed performing  assays and making overnight cultures each day, and learning how to properly use the lab equipment.
