Alexander Auld
I am working on understanding the mechanisms that regulate heart muscle cells. I chose my current lab because Professor Boyer has many years of experience in the cardiac development field. MIT has a large biology community, and I’ve been able to easily connect with labs that have similar interests; everyone is very open to collaborate. MIT Biology has also helped me apply for grants, and walked me through every stage in great detail. The department has opened many doors for my career development.
