Dan Delgado received a Bachelor of Arts in English and American Literature at Harvard University. He has been at MIT since 2006, serving as the Assistant to the Assistant Provost for Research and then the HR Coordinator for the Mathematics Department before assuming his current role as Human Resources Administrator for the Department of Biology. Dan manages human resource related matters — including policy interpretation, appointments, visas for academic and non-academic staff, employee recruitment, job classification assessment and compensation for non-academic staff, labor union and employee relations, and professional development.
Dan received the Infinite Mile Award from the Vice President for Research Office in 2007 and the Infinite Mile Award from the MIT Mathematics Department in 2015. He is also a member of the Society of Human Resource Management (SHRM), the College and University Professional Association for Human Resources (CUPA-HR), and the Northeast Human Resources Association (NEHRA).
